Everyone in the Acklam Grange family are incredibly proud to congratulate our exceptional Year 11 students on their fantastic GCSE results this year. These achievements reflect not only their hard work, determination, and resilience, but also the dedication of our staff who have supported them every step of the way—academically, emotionally, and through strong partnerships with families.

These results reflect the hard work and the unwavering commitment of a talented and dedicated staff who worked so hard with an equally impressive cohort of students. We have to remember and acknowledge, that this group of students did not complete their external KS2 SATs and have had their education significantly disrupted due to the pandemic.

Acklam Grange continues to be a very special school that will not leave any child behind and the results of our class of 2025 have demonstrated this once again. We would also like to extend our thanks to our parents and carers. Your unwavering support over the past five years has been instrumental in helping our students thrive. The strong relationships between school and home are a cornerstone of our community and a key part of our shared success.

There are many individual success stories from this amazing group of students that need to be celebrated; we have students who have achieved the highest possible grades across all their subjects or made fantastic progress with their academic development from where they first started back in Year 7. Over 50% of our students achieved at least one grade 7 or higher and there were over 600 grades 7-9 achieved in total.

The outcomes across all subject areas continue to reflect the high standards we aspire to every day at Acklam Grange School with many subjects once again predicted to be above national averages for all measures. While English, Maths and Science have continued to perform very strongly, there are many stories of success across our broad Key Stage 4 curriculum offer, we are equally proud of all of these.

Early indications suggest these results should ensure that Acklam Grange School continues to be one of the highest achieving schools in the area and more importantly have supported the growth and development of some amazing people who will go on to change the world.

We are so proud of all Acklam Grange students for their amazing effort and hard work. Throughout their time at Acklam Grange School, our students have lived and breathed our core values. Their results are a testament to their commitment and perseverance, and they can be rightly proud of all they have achieved. We are equally proud of every student, regardless of the grades they’ve received—because success is measured not just in numbers, but in growth, effort, and character through our AGS PRIDE values.

All of us at The Legacy Learning Trust wish our students the very best as they move on to the next stage of their journey. Whether heading into further education, training, or employment, they leave us with the skills, confidence, and values to succeed—and we couldn’t be prouder. Well done class of 2025. You absolutely smashed it!
