Students from across TLLT came together on Friday 9th May for a vibrant and memorable Trust-Wide School Sports Festival held at Acklam Grange School. The event, which brought together pupils from all schools within the trust, was a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and community spirit.
Competitions spanned a wide range of events including tug-of-war, the limbo, obstacle courses and much more. Each school fielded Year 5 athletes who demonstrated remarkable dedication and sportsmanship throughout the day. We also want to say a special thank you to Acklam Grange School and Beverley School Year 10 Sports Leaders who helped with the organisation of the day, as well as supporting the primary school pupils in each event.
Trust PE Network Lead Matthew Jackson reflected, “Today wasn’t just about competition—it was about building connections across our schools and creating lasting memories. We’re so proud of every student who took part.”
The success of the event reaffirmed the trust’s REACH values, working to create strong relationships, celebrate diversity and aspire to be the best we can be.
