The Role

As Senior Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient financial operation of our Trust. You will support financial processes, maintain accurate records, and assist in budgeting and reporting. Your expertise will contribute to the effective management of resources across our academies, ensuring financial compliance through the month and year end processes and the development of effective reporting mechanisms. You will play a key role in contributing to the continuous development of the financial training programmes, working alongside a variety of shareholders. This is a dynamic post, offering the opportunity to develop your skills through your input into a variety of financial tasks.

About You:

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role (education sector experience is a plus)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
