Our schools celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 6th March with lots of different activities.
Some of our schools hosted special assemblies with guest speakers and spoke about their favourite books, as well as having the opportunity to listen to staff read some of these.
Lots of children dressed up as their favourite book characters with some wonderful choices such as Matilda, The Gruffalo and Oompa Loompas!
At Acklam Grange, staff put their creative skills to the test with a door decorating competition with their classroom doors decorated in a theme of a book or a book cover.
It is fantastic to see the joy of reading shining across our trust, not only on World Book Day, but every day!
